Youth and Christian Education

Many Christian educational opportunities are available for the youth at Grace Church.

A nursery is available between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Sundays. It is professionally staffed by a degreed early childhool caregiver.

Godly Play is offered for pre-K through fifth grade. "The Goal of Godly Play is to teach children the art of using religious language-parable, sacred story, silence and liturgical action - to help them become more fully aware of the mystery of God's presence in their lives."

In 2008 a new curriculum was introduced for Middle School. "Making it Real and Relevant" is a multi-media based study. Each lesson makes use of small and large group discussion, activities, popular music an/or video clips designed to encourage us to discover that God, Christ, the Bible and one’s faith and values are all real and relevant in our lives.

The High Schoolers meet on the first Sunday of the month at 9:00 a.m. in youth room 9 for discussion and breakfast followed by worship sitting together at the 10:00 a.m. service. On the first Monday and third Sunday, they usually meet in the evenings but hours vary according to the activity - meetings alternately focus on fun/fellowship and service.

While your child is in Sunday School, join other parents for Parent's Place, a time for coffee, fellowship and Christian formation.
